About the circuit
The track
Bilster Berg is a private driving resort in the hills of East Westphalia, built on a former military ammunition site. The 4.2 km lap has big changes in elevation, blind crests and 19 corners, which is why it is often compared to a compact Nordschleife. The forest and hills around it give the circuit a natural, enclosed feel.
Signature corners
The circuit is defined by its steep climbs and drops: you brake over crests, turn into corners you cannot yet see and feel the car go light at the top of hills. Learning the line takes many laps, and a good rhythm through the sequences of crests matters more than outright speed.
Who it suits
Bilster Berg is demanding: steep climbs, blind crests and little room for error. It suits drivers with some track experience, ideally with an instructor for the first sessions. Because it is a private venue, days are usually well organised with limited numbers.
Getting there
The circuit is near Bad Driburg, about 25 km east of Paderborn. Paderborn/Lippstadt airport is about 40 minutes away by car.
