About the circuit

The track

The Circuit de Lédenon, near Nîmes in the south of France, is often called the hilliest and most technical circuit in the country. The 3.2 km competition track runs anti-clockwise, which is rare, through steep climbs and descents in the garrigue landscape, with around 38 gear changes per lap. A shorter club track sits next to it.

Signature corners

The lap is a sequence of blind crests, off-camber corners and steep drops where the car moves around a lot. Rhythm is everything: one corner sets up the next, and the elevation changes make braking points hard to judge on the first laps.

Who it suits

Lédenon is hilly, narrow and technical, so it suits drivers and riders who already have some track experience and enjoy a challenge. The circuit runs its own open days with a limited number of cars, which makes for plenty of track time; GT courses are available for those who want instruction.

Getting there

The circuit is near the village of Lédenon, about 15 km north-east of Nîmes and close to the Pont du Gard. Nîmes and Avignon both have airports and high-speed rail stations within about 30 minutes.
